Overeating is one of the major reasons of one’s bulky body. Researches have shown that it takes around 20 minutes for human mind to generate signals for fullness and when a person keeps on eating till the time he gets that STOP signal he is definitely indulging in over-eating because he is already full long before getting the signal. Therefore it is said that one must stop eating when there is still space for two to three bites in one’s stomach.
Another most common reason of bulkiness these days is inactivity. People are becoming lazy and the figure “1 out of every 4 people in America is bulky” is enough to prove that we need to wake up and start taking some serious action about this inactivity. Once a person starts physical movements the process of fat burning starts enhancing and in this way extra fats in one’s body starts disappearing.
Another important cause of obesity is one’s eating habits. Eating too much junk and fast food and drinking much soft drinks and alcohol is not good for health. It makes one obese gradually which is dangerous too as one can’t identify that they are getting fat and till the time they realize they have already become a part of obese family.
Another reason of obesity, although less common, is genetics. One could be obese because their grand parents and parents were obese. Or it might also be possible that one is getting fat due to the use of certain type of medicines. Therefore before choosing any diet plan one need to know the reason why one is getting fat. Whatever way one may decide to follow to lose weight it must be effective enough to help weight loss because extra weight is very dangerous for health. It is not that if you don’t put it off its fine, it’s just not fine because obesity may cause serious health issues including:
- High Blood Pressure: Due to the fact that being obese results in more fatty tissues which ultimately slows down the flow of blood causing more pressure on arteries.
- Strokes: Due to more fatty deposits the arteries of brain may get blocked and a single small blood clot can prove to be dangerous enough to result a stroke.
- Diabetes: Cholesterol is the main reason of obesity and diabetes in a body because it badly affects the insulin receptors and it stops sugar to enter into the cells, therefore sugar remains in blood and causes diabetes.
- Heart Diseases: The major reason behind heart diseases is obesity, because it increases the level of fats in blood. The presence of fats in blood is dangerous because it narrows the arteries which reduce the blood flow and the chances of heart attack increases.
- The other diseases caused by obesity are cancer (colon, esophagus, and kidney), sleep apnea (very dangerous condition), Osteoarthritis (Joint disorders), liver diseases (very dangerous for those who already have diabetes).
